I’ve known I wanted to be an actor since I began performing in the third grade, and I’ve never considered doing anything else. A Minnesota native, I began more serious training in high school at the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists.

I went on to study at the California Institute of the Arts (BFA Acting), the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’s Advanced Acting Shakespeare Program, and trained with the Guthrie Theater as an inaugural member of the Guthrie Actors Lab. I’m currently based in New York City and am an associate actor with Eno River Players.

Acting has been my solace since I was a child. Facing difficulty growing up, it gave me a refuge to make sense of others, and to make sense of the world. I fell deeply in love with my craft, and I don’t see that ever changing.

Now that I’ve built a strong foundation, I focus most on presence, play, and honesty. Whether on film or stage, I want to leave people with something that stays with them.
